The new technology for energy conservation is for people who think about the future.
A revolutionary way to recover the waste heat energy of air conditioning systems to provide free hot wate
Do you think you're farsighted?
Don't want to overpay for your energy bills?
Are you skeptical about energy-saving technologies? We fully share your opinion – everything presented on the market is excessively complicated, expensive, and sometimes even useless. Therefore, we offer you something new: a simple, cheap, and effective solution – created in the laboratories of DDD Technology Inc. (USA), an active heat exchanger that recovers the waste heat of your air conditioner to provide hot water (DHW). The equipment does not require control and setup by the user and maintenance by specialists – it works naturally.

Why and How It Works
The main consumption of electricity by a person living between the temperate climatic zones of the northern and southern hemispheres falls on maintaining a comfortable microclimate of his living, work, and leisure places, which is achieved through electric air conditioning systems. In particular, a significant share of electricity consumption is made by hot water supply. In the cold season, it is economically justified. But in warm weather, according to analysts from DDD Technology Inc. (USA), this kind of electricity consumption is a crazy waste of the energy resources of mankind. And here is why…

... The capacity of an average electric hot water boiler for a family of three is 80 liters. Heating this volume of water requires (according to its technical datasheet) up to 6 kW. If there are three boiler heating cycles per day, the daily cost of hot water is 6*3=18 kW, which is 18*30=540 kW per month.

The lowest-power split air conditioner (7000 BTU) pumps 2.6 kW of heat from the serviced premises into the external environment. From this, we can conclude the following: in the hot season, when the air conditioner operates in continuous mode (night temperatures reach +25C and above), it emits 62 kW of thermal energy per day, which is 62x30=1860 kW of thermal energy per month.

Just imagine(!): your family earns money (saves money, maybe fights for a green economy) to pay for 540 kW to heat water... while emitting 3.5 times more energy into the atmosphere?! ... And this is without taking into account the presence of two or three air conditioners in a city apartment, the operation of central air conditioning systems of buildings, and chiller units...

… For those who are not ready to put up with it, DDD Technology Inc. (USA) offers an innovative Waste Heat Recovery Unit, "Keeping Warm DDD", an active heat exchanger that captures the waste heat energy of an operating air conditioner to heat water in the DHW system. The heat exchanger is installed on the equipment already in operation (SPLIT air conditioner and hot water boiler).
This revolutionary solution will save you from unnecessary costs for the use of hot water, allow you to save money on the operation of refrigeration machines and/or heat engines, extend the life of your thermal equipment, and prevent the electrical network from overloads by maintaining peak loads during the hot summer. Particular modifications of the waste heat recovery unit have additional features that allow you to deal with condensation on windows, as well as with cold, dampness, and mold in bathrooms. One of the extra capabilities of the equipment is the possibility of non-stop operation of air conditioning systems in critically high air temperatures.

If you do not have an air conditioner (industrial refrigerator, heat generator, etc.) and a hot water boiler but want to buy them, please click on "Buy Air Conditioner" to go to the catalog of ready-made multi-task air conditioning systems + DHW.
Using "Кeeping warm DDD N1/2"
Main Features
The Waste Heat Recovery Unit by DDD Technology Inc. (USA) is designed to capture the waste heat of refrigeration machines, as well as heat generators and engines, and use the collected energy to heat water (DHW). The purpose of the equipment is to save: 1) energy; 2) working units and assemblies, and heat sources. These savings are due to a decrease in the load on power units and engines when replacing air cooling with liquid cooling.
Additional Features
When surface-mounting "Keeping Warm DDD N1/2" indoors, it is better to install it under the window (in the absence of heating radiators) to use its power to ensure the convection process to reduce the formation of condensate. At the same time, the Waste Heat Recovery Unit continues to function as a heat source for the window when the air conditioner is used in heating mode. However, there is no heat extraction for DHW needs (basic configuration).
Additional Features
When mounting "Keeping Warm DDD N1/2" on a wall, it is better to install it as a heated towel rail in bathrooms, shower rooms, and other premises where there is a problem of high humidity leading to mold and mildew – on walls, ceilings, and at joints between tiles. The Waste Heat Recovery Unit uses its power to remove dampness, adds heat to the room, and helps to dry wet things faster. At the same time, the Waste Heat Recovery Unit continues to function as a heat source in the cold season despite there being no heat extraction for DHW needs (basic configuration).

Just imagine your benefits from using "Keeping Warm DDD" by DDD Technology Inc. (USA)!
1. SAVINGS
Waste energy emitted into the external environment by your air conditioner will be directed to heat hot water.
2. ECOLOGY
3. RELIABILITY
The Waste Heat Recovery Unit will reduce thermal and sound (by reducing the load) air pollution when the air conditioner is running.
The Waste Heat Recovery Unit will reduce the load on all units and components of air conditioning systems, which will reduce maintenance costs and extend their service life.

Advantages
DDD Technology Inc. (USA) offers an innovative active heat exchanger, which can be installed on existing equipment (SPLIT air conditioner and hot water boiler).
Installation is made in three stages:
2. The Waste Heat Recovery Unit is available in open-mounting and flush-mounting versions – it can be mounted inside the air conditioner, outside the building, indoors (for example, above a suspended ceiling), inside a DHW boiler, etc.
1. Changes are made to the condensing unit of the air conditioner to allow the hot vapors of the compressor to be diverted to the Waste Heat Recovery Unit. For this, two pipes (refrigerant pipes) are laid from the condensing unit to the Waste Heat Recovery Unit.
3. After the Waste Heat Recovery Unit is connected by a pipeline to a DHW boiler, thermal energy is sent to the water heater. During the cold season, there is no heat extraction from the air conditioner (basic version).

What Keeping Warm DDD Owners Say
  • Vialeta Ilyva
We added heat exchangers to two air conditioners located on the south side. Our electricity costs fell by half due to savings on the operation of an 80-liter hot water boiler. We are going to add a third air conditioner.

Comment from DDD Technology Inc. (USA): You won't get much benefit from installing a large number of waste heat recovery units with a small domestic hot water tank. We recommend replacing it with a larger one or simply adding a second tank.
  • Ciro Richi
I have long been looking for an opportunity to optimize costs in my cafe. The installed multi-unit heat exchanger (one for the central air conditioner and two for split air conditioners) shows excellent results. Let's see what will happen in summer when the air conditioners will work at full capacity. My only regret is that I did not place the device in the washing room to dry it.

Comment from DDD Technology Inc. (USA): In this case, there is excess waste heat. We recommend connecting a conventional hot water radiator (in the washing room) to the heat exchanger's return line.
  • Plamen Kolev
Hello! I am responsible for the operation of the company's server. I convinced the manager of the need to install "Keeping Warm DDD" due to problems with the cooling system of the server room. Installed on the roof of the building under direct sunlight, air conditioners are constantly overheated in hot weather. With waste heat recovery units, the problem of uninterrupted cooling is solved. However, we did not take hot water. The equipment only works as an additional Freon to water heat exchanger.

Comment from DDD Technology Inc. (USA): It is unfortunate that for the sake of uninterrupted operation of the equipment, the thermal energy collected by the device is discharged into the sewer along with the network water. Try offering it (the hot water) to your neighbors in the building
